The Trunk was simple to install for a grandmother that never did anything like this. Took 15 minutes mostly to carefully put the track in place. The hookup was easy as there was an outlet on our 2026 Y up the left inner side of the Trunk area on the car itself. K.C.

Great build quality lights, it has a sensor so you don't have to keep switching on/off. Leave it on and close the trunk and lights will turn off!

Excellent product, picture is in full daylight! In the dark it’s very bright and makes it safe, easy to grab or put away your food in the back of the car. Easy to install, ensure you play with the sensor, bring it closer to the side of the vehicle so it shuts off when it closes. Outside other remarkable product!

Life saver Easy installation under 10mins and great quality, this product is definitely a life saver, Model Y/X has a design problem that the trunk doesn’t have enough lighting in the dark. This Tparts trunk light gives my trunk a face lift, it has a built in ambient sensor that automatically shuts the light when the trunk is closed. No more dark trunk at night, It makes you feel like getting a new car.
Simple. Light sensor works great. Easy install. Adds the right amount of light to dark trunk. The sensor immediately shuts off light when trunk closes and immediately turns on when opened. Perfect! Highly recommend it. It should have been something Tesla included originally.
The lights were extremely easy to install and give off plenty of light in the trunk compartment. I like that I can easily switch between the warm & cool lights. When it's dark, the lights automatically come on as soon as I open the back hatch and will turn off when the hatch closes. The only problem I have with them is when the car is sitting locked in a dark parking lot and I open the driver's door, the internal lights come on inside the vehicle along with the trunk lights! The trunk lights stay on when I put the car in gear to drive. I can see the reflection of the trunk lights in my rear view mirror as I drive. Is there a way to keep the trunk lights from coming on at night when I open the driver's door? I may have to press the switch to turn the lights off before I close the trunk to keep them from coming on periodically at night with the trunk closed. The controller/sensor is mounted as close to the outside edge as I can get it and is fully covered when the trunk hatch is closed.

This light kit is super easy to install and looks so nice. Provides much needed light for the trunk area. Communication with this company may not be great though. I had a small issue when installing and tried reaching out to the email they suggested and no one ever responded (I ended up figuring it out myself).

This was a great mod and super easy to install. The cool white and warm white selectable was a nice option so I didn't have to guess which I liked better. I had this problem with the frunk being forced to choose and wanted cool white to match the headlights but it was out of stock. So I got warm white and now after seeing the trunk and selectable trying each installed I wish I had cool white to match. I should have taken the hint realizing WHY it was out of stock... Because it's the preferred choice. I digress. The trunk led looks GREAT and I prefer the cool white to match the spotlight on the inside of the Tesla my cool white spot light. Beautiful integration, excellent install. Highly recommend. Again if you're going with frunk consider cool white and don't make the same mistake I did.

Shoutout to TParts for a great product and their customer service! I ordered these after loving the frunk light for my Model Y especially with the ability to swap between warm and cool lighting. This light strip is easy to install, brightens up the trunk substantially and the automatic sensor has been flawless. I highly recommend this! The first strip I received would default to the cool lighting after closing the trunk though - I reached out to see if this was expected and they sent a new strip to replace, were communicative until delivery to make sure it worked!
