2. Why Austin? Strategic Location

3. Technology: L4 Autonomy & No Geofencing

- Tesla's current FSD (Full Self-Driving) system is Level 2. It requires driver supervision.

- The new Robotaxi will use Level 4 autonomy. No driver or passenger intervention is needed.

- Remote operation will be used for extra safety at first. However, Tesla will not use geofencing like some competitors.

5. Latest Progress: Internal Testing

- Tesla's Robotaxi service is now in internal testing.

- Only early employees in Austin and the San Francisco Bay Area can use it.

- So far, there have been 1,500 completed rides and over 15,000 miles driven.
