   Tired of the factory lock sound on your Tesla? Want something more unique and cool? With just a USB drive and a minute of your time, you can easily make it happen!

1. Preparation

   First, make sure you have the USB drive that came with your Tesla (or one you often use in the vehicle) and take it out. 

   Then, choose a sound effect you like — you can either download one online or even clip your own audio segment, whether it’s a movie quote, game sound effect, or your pet’s bark!

⚠️ Please note: The audio file must be in WAV format and less than 1MB in size. Otherwise, the system may not recognize it. 

   We recommend keeping the sound between 1-2 seconds for a clean and crisp effect. Name your final audio file “Lockchime.wav”.

2. Steps

  1. Insert the USB drive with your sound file back into your Tesla’s USB port.
  2. On the touchscreen, go to 「Toybox」 → 「Boombox」 → 「USB」.
  3. The system will automatically detect the “Lockchime.wav” file. Select it to confirm.

3. Done!

   The next time you lock your car, it will play your personalized sound!
