Part 1. Prepare Your Tesla Light Show Files

Step 1 — Format Your USB

Format your USB drive as FAT32 or exFAT.

Note: If your USB is already FAT32 or exFAT, you can use it directly. Otherwise, format it first. Back up important files before formatting.

Step 2 — Upload Music

Open the Light Show Creator, then click Choose MP3 or WAV to select a music file (up to 10 minutes).

Step 3 — Choose a Style & Preview

Choose Pulse, Sweep, or Chill, then click Play to preview the lighting effects.

Tip: Try them all and pick your vibe! More styles coming soon.✨

Step 4 — Download & Copy

1. Download and unzip the Light Show ZIP file.
2. Copy the LightShow folder to the USB drive root directory.

Note: File names vary by track. Keep each .fseq file together with its matching .mp3 file, and preserve the original file names. Place the LightShow folder directly in the USB drive’s root directory.

Step 5 — Connect the USB

Plug USB into Tesla Glovebox

Note: USB port locations may vary by Tesla model and production year.

Part 2. Start the Tesla Light Show

On your Tesla touchscreen, go to:

Car → Menu → Lights → Sync Lights with Music → Light Show

Select the Light Show file you want to play. You can also choose a start time for the Light Show.

Tap Schedule Show to schedule the Light Show for your selected time.
